Dear Friends and Colleagues,
On behalf of Alzheimer's Disease International and the Alzheimer Society of Canada, we would like to thank all those who attended the 26th International Conference of ADI in Toronto. The conference, The Changing Face of Dementia, was a great success, with an exciting and thought provoking mix of plenary sessions, invited contributions and discussions. Over 1,000 delegates attended the event and the feedback we have received has been both positive and moving, in equal measure. If you do have any additional feedback for us please do not hesitate to contact the conference secretariat at adi2011@mci-group.com - we would love to hear from you whether you attended the conference or not.
For those who wish to view the powerpoint presentations made during the conference these are available on the Alzheimer's Disease International website - www.alz.co.uk/adi-conference-2011-presentations.
Our thoughts now move on to the next ADI conference, to be held in ExCel London between 07-10 March 2012. There are already exciting sessions planned under the theme of "Science Fact Fiction" , and registration and abstract submission is now open - click here (www.adi2012.org) to find out more.
We look forward to seeing all of you in London next year to help bring better awareness and understanding; more resources for research; and greater recognition of the rights of those living with dementia and their carers.
